Biodegradable and degradable products are not the same!

Degradable petrochemical based plastic can be made to degrade and break down into smaller pieces but only with the aid of sunlight. It still leaves behind harmful residues which causes problems for flora, fauna and wildlife.

naturegirl™ products are both biodegradable and compostable. Once they have quickly and fully disintegrated in the soil it is both safe for the environment and able to support plant life.

At naturegirl™ our sheet bioplastic will break down in as little as 10 to 45 days.
Microbes will eat the bioplastics, breaking them down. It then disintegrates into the soil, digested by microbes in a reduction process into compost.
Being starch, they break down in the same way as their parent plant into home compost, landfill, our waterways and municipal compost facilities.
